Thermoforming

Season is capable of both thin (0.15 – 2 mm) and thick (2 – 10 mm) gauge thermoforming. Products that can be manufactured vary from simple plastic packaging to thick plastic housings. Thick gauge molding is used mainly for low volume productions and large sized parts having maximum dimensions of 1 m x 1.5 m x 0.6 m.

This allows Season to manufacture plastic housings for customers with relatively low investment on the tool. As the customer’s market becomes established Season can then provide new tooling for injection molding to handle production volumes. This enables Season to ensure quality parts at lower cost for the customer.
