New Product Introduction

The New Product Introduction process is one of the most important processes in contract manufacturing. A Customer Team will be set-up to manage the activities associated with the customer’s program. The Customer Team will be led by a Program Manager from Customer Service Organization.

Other members of the Core Customer Team will be a Materials Specialist (Purchasing), Manufacturing Engineer(s), Test Engineer(s), Production Control Specialist(s), Customer Service Coordinator(s) as well as Material Planning Coordinator(s). As the product is ramped to production, the team will be increased or modified to address the main issues of the program.
